Michael Kett, a physical therapist for more than 25 years, is also an author, speaker, and entertainer. Michael's unique and engaging presentation style utilizes magic, mind reading, and audience participation to make his keynote presentations powerful and memorable. His Houdini in the Classroom workshop has been described as, "a powerful but fun approach to teaching."
He has taught part-time at Northwestern University Physical Therapy School and at Benedictine University. Michael has spoken at many individual schools as well as repeat engagements at the Illinois Gifted Education Conference, the Chicago Tribune Teacher Resource Fair, the LaSalle County Inservice Day, and College of DuPage.
Michael has written two books, Applied Magic and Houdini in the Classroom, which are a blending of his experience as a magician and physical therapist and his interest in making learning fun. Currently, he works limited hours as a physical therapist and the majority of his time as a speaker/entertainer.
